In recognition of Child Health Day on October 5th, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau released the latest data from the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH).
The NSCH provides comprehensive national- and state-level data on the health and well-being of America’s children, their families, and their communities. The newly released 2025 NSCH data provides information on a wide range of topics, including children’s physical and mental health, health care access and quality, special health care needs, adverse childhood experiences, and family and community well-being.
We encourage our partners, researchers, policymakers, and public health professionals to explore and use the latest NSCH data to better understand the strengths, needs, and health service gaps of America’s children and inform efforts to improve their health and well-being:
