Former Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., said it’s too soon to say whether President Donald Trump made a mistake in going to war with Iran.

“Well, we’ll find out,” Rogers, the Republican Senate nominee in Michigan, said in an interview with “NBC Nightly News” anchor Tom Llamas. “I don’t think so.”

In a separate interview, Llamas asked Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed about his repeated refusal to say whether Iran or Israel was a greater national security threat to the U.S.

“When we look at our situation in the world, there is actively more war in the world because of what Israel is pushing us into,” El-Sayed said.
