Block has begun adding a buy now, pay later option to customers’ Cash App debit cards in certain states, the company said Thursday during its fourth-quarter earnings webcast.
The Oakland, California-based digital payments company started upgrading some eligible cards with the BNPL service on Tuesday, a Block spokesperson said. The company announced last November that it would add the Afterpay BNPL option to its 24 million Cash App cards.
