A Message from the Admin Team
Dear Roadrunner Families,
What a wonderful (and definitely chilly!) week it has been here at Little Run Elementary! Despite the lingering cool weather, we've seen warm smiles and bright spirits all around.
This week saw our students shine brightly at our fantastic Talent Night! From beautiful singing and energetic dancing to hilarious jokes and even a captivating mime performance, the talent on display was truly amazing. It was a joy to see our students share their passions and creativity with the Little Run community. A huge thank you to all the performers for their hard work and dedication!
We couldn't have pulled off such a successful Talent Night without the support of our incredible PTA and parent volunteers. A special shout-out and thank you to Ms. Rahman, Ms. Halpin, and Ms. Steffen for their time and dedication to making this event so special for our students. We truly appreciate your commitment to Little Run!
Looking ahead to next week, we're excited to see the forecast predicts some warmer weather! Hopefully, we can all enjoy some sunshine and spring breezes.
Sincerely,
Christie Yarn, Principal Alison Butler, Assistant Principal Little Run Elementary

Upcoming Student Experience Survey
Our school will participate in the FCPS Student Experience Survey. This survey will gather important feedback from students about their school experiences to help FCPS make meaningful improvements.
All students in grades 3-6, except those who have opted out, will receive a link to the survey in their FCPS email on February 24. We will administer the survey during the school day between Monday, February 24, and Friday, March 7.
We believe it's important to hear from our students about what we're doing well and where we can improve. This work also aligns with the five equity commitments in FCPS’ 2023-30 Strategic Plan, which focus on amplifying student voice and experiences as we work toward meeting plan goals.
