Is layering an art? – it’s hardly a complicated science, certainly. However, there is an art to doing it well and we hope we’ve considered the elements to make it easy. Our colour palette co-ordinates across the entire range to create a cohesive tonal look or a more vibrant contrast with complementary shades. Less obvious, but equally important, is the design – ‘fully fashioned’ and ‘dropped back shoulder seams’ are your lesser-known allies here – a clean profile prevents awkward layers of ridges and bumps on the shoulders – who would know that is a thing? We do! which is why we consider it in our design.
