IUSG Logging Service Partial Outage. The Splunk HTTP Event Collector (HEC) cluster experienced a production partial outage incident last night and it is possible there was log loss between 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM on 04/03/2025

Business Impact:
Splunk Logging Disruption, potential for log data loss in Splunk Indexes.

Necessary Actions:
If your system sends logs to Splunk through the HEC please check your logs during that time period in your Splunk index for this time period to confirm if any log data is missing. If you experienced any log loss please open a ticket with the IUSG Logging Services team to request they restore any missing log data. Please perform this review as soon as you are able to avoid a situation where logs are rotated locally before being sent to Splunk.
