The top of Friday’s eighth inning was one of the low moments in recent Cubs history. They had a 7-1 lead and watched Arizona put up 10 runs in the inning, then the Cubs came back and won 13-11.

Vidal Brujan got his first start for the Cubs at third base Friday and committed an error on his first chance. Gage Workman wasn’t charged with an error but misplayed a ball that could have ended the eighth inning. All in all, third base has become an adventure for the Cubs.
