Eat. Watch. Do.

Thursday, April 24, 2025

It’s Thursday, Chicago.

We’re so close to the weekend I can taste it!

The Lollapalooza of the city’s art scene, EXPO Chicago, is now underway. Chicago bibliophiles will also take pleasure in Independent Bookstore Day, which booksellers across the city will celebrate Saturday.

Plus, this week Food critic Louisa Kung Liu Chu delves into Midwestern-style comfort food in Portage Park, and TV critic Nina Metz reviews “Leverage: Redemption” on Amazon.

Enjoy the weekend, we’ll see you back here next week.
