Save the Date: Art and Music Show May 9
Kilmer Center School's annual Art and Music Show will be on May 9th. We will have student performances and art work created throughout the school year. More information to follow.
 Excellence Is at a Crossroads
Excellent teachers are the heart of FCPS! They inspire our kids, go the extra mile, and make a real difference. But the current Fairfax County Board of Supervisors advertised budget underfunds FCPS by $150 million for next year.
Being fully funded helps keep class sizes down and the number of highly-qualified teachers up at FCPS. Keeping the best teachers includes compensation that allows them to live and work in Fairfax County. The Fairfax County budget priorities survey is open until Thursday, April 24. Graduation
Kilmer Center School will hold its graduation for students on Friday May 30, 2025. There will be no school for students on this day.
Order Your Yearbook Today
2024-2025 Kilmer Center School Yearbooks are now for sale. The cost is $15 per yearbook and may be purchased through 5/10/2024. You can order your yearbooks here. A paper copy of the form was sent home with students as well. If you would like to purchase the yearbook but require support please contact Andrea Bylykbashi at avbylykbashi@fcps.edu .
Extended School Year (ESY) Dates Announced
The dates for the 2025 sessions of Extended School Year services have been confirmed. Students will attend from June 30 to July 25 with July 3 & 4th being holidays.
May
May 9: Art and Music Show
May 26: Memorial Day - No school
May 30- Graduation- No School for Students
June
June11: Last day of School
June 30: First day of ESY
July
July 3-4: ESY Holiday - No School
July 25: Last Day of ESY

Kilmer Center Learning Space Donations
We have a vision to create a vibrant outdoor learning space for all students to access at Kilmer Center School. This learning space will be constructed directly beside our school building with a designated walkway directly leading to the learning space. The learning space will be a large area consisting of beautiful pavers and brick. Scan the included QR code or click here to make your contribution today.
