A judge allowed prosecutors to seek the death penalty for Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students in 2022.

Attorneys for Kohberger had sought to rule out capital punishment as an option, arguing that he was recently found to have autism spectrum disorder and the death penalty would be "dehumanizing."
