We were delighted to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Academy students this week at our annual Chantilly Academy Awards ceremony. Students from across the Academy were recognized by their teachers in four award categories: Outstanding Student, Career Achievement, Most Dedicated Student, and Most Valuable Team Member. In addition to these student recognitions, the Teacher of the Year Award was presented to Mr. Cutting, our Pharmacy Technician instructor.
For the first time, the Academy Awards was hosted entirely by student emcees. We want to give a very special thank you to Emanuel A. (Auto Collision), Eli C. (Veterinary Science), Christina E. (Dental Careers), Elizabeth H. (Korean), and Sam I. (Dental Careers) for serving as our very first student emcees! These five Academy Ambassadors did an incredible job of hosting our awards program and we were so proud to have them represent Chantilly Academy for this evening of celebration.
We are grateful to all of the students, families, and friends who attended the awards ceremony to support our Academy students. Many thanks to all of the Chantilly Academy teachers and staff member who made this year's Academy Awards a big success.

 The Outstanding Student award honors students for being exceptionally dedicated to the program, always engaged, and having a deep interest in the field.
 The Career Achievement award honors students for outstanding achievement in an internship or clinical experience or for making an exceptional advancement towards their career goal.
 The Most Dedicated Student award honors students for being exceptionally dedicated to the program, always engaged, and having a deep interest in the field.
 The Most Valuable Team Member award honors students for demonstrating outstanding support for other students, and for adding immeasurably to an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration, and connection in the classroom or lab.
 The Teacher of the Year award honors a Chantilly Academy teacher who inspires and encourages students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn, creates an inclusive, welcoming classroom environment, fosters strong relationships with students, demonstrates expertise in their content area and shares their knowledge with students, and understands the individual needs of students and encourages their talents.
 We were lucky to have these five amazing Academy Ambassadors host our evening of recognitions. They each did an incredible job!
