The Principals' Message
Happy Friday, CES Community,
With only 17 days left in the school year, it's hard to believe how quickly the time has flown! This week marked the successful conclusion of our school-wide SOL testing, leaving only expedited retakes. We are incredibly proud of our students' dedication and the remarkable progress they've demonstrated. This week also allowed us to come together as a community for our Food and Fashion Night, which offered a wonderful chance to celebrate our community's diversity.
Just a friendly reminder that Monday, May 19th, will be our last Early Release Monday. You should have received an email this Tuesday detailing how your student(s) will be going home. If your dismissal plans have changed, please contact the school as soon as possible.
Your Proud Principals,
Rachel, Jen, and Katie

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener Results Now Available
Students in grades 3-12 took the SEL Screener during the month of March, providing information on their SEL skills like achieving goals, understanding and managing emotions, establishing and maintaining relationships, and making responsible decisions. The screener also asks students how well their school community makes them feel valued, included, and supported.
Individual student SEL Screener results are now available to families in the Documents section of SIS ParentVUE. For families who do not have an active ParentVUE account, results will be sent via postal mail. For support in understanding your individual student’s results or for ideas on how to support them at home, please review the Family Guide or reach out to our school staff with any questions.
