May 16 - News and Notes!
Rolling Valley Families,
May has been full of activities, and this week was no exception!
We wrapped up our final Early Release Monday, and I’d like to thank all of our families for their partnership in making these days successful throughout the year.
Field trips continued this week with our 4th graders heading to Richmond to visit the Science Museum, while 2nd grade explored Riverbend Park! Students have been loving these engaging learning experiences outside of the classroom — the smiles and stories they bring back are a joy to see and hear.
Our Girls on the Run team had their celebration pasta dinner tonight and are all set to run their 5K this weekend! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the season. Good luck to all of our runners!
As we look ahead, please be sure to check out the upcoming dates. A reminder that our next PTA meeting is on Monday, May 19, in the school library. We hope to see you there!
