| Today, we will look at a subscriber’s deck sent to me. | If you are ready to have your deck reviewed by me, reply to this email. I will do a review like this in a newsletter for $99 or a private one for $299. | | The designs on this deck got a little messed up in the conversion process, so if anything looks a little off, I just want a quick disclaimer that it is on me and not the company. I also had to remove a couple of slides (nothing key) where the design changes made it impractical to include the slide. | This is a solid first slide, you will need to have some idea of what they do to really understand the one-liner (which isn’t ideal) but generally speaking these types of companies raised from specialist VCs not generalists so I won’t be overly critical, it’s highly likely every VC that reads this deck has some strong pre-existing knowledge before they even get to the cover slide. | | I don’t like this as the second slide, it is almost trying to be a perspective framer but instead is a mission statement that lacks the perspective that a perspective framer is meant to provide. It’s a poor replacement that doesn’t hit many of the key points such as the size of the opportunity, the problem, why it matters, etc. | | This team is solid, so I like that they have this slide early on. The bios are also perfect, they essentially just hit on the key points that matter for this specific company to VCs. It could not have been done better. | | | Hiring IT becoming a headache? | | IT hiring doesn’t have to be a hassle. Let Crossbridge take care of it all—from sourcing top talent to seamless onboarding and more. Get fully vetted resumes in just 24 hours, all handled by real people, not algorithms. Experience the Crossbridge difference. | Schedule a Demo | | This should have been part of the perspective framer and started the narrative. | | This is just a repeat of the last slide, there definitely needed to be something more here to justify having both slides. | | This is a great slide solution. What I like most about this is that I can see the value they are providing. They claim that seeing the anonymized version will increase conversion rates, and just getting to see the original (banned) and anonymized versions, I am experiencing the benefits. It’s not often that a company can truly bring their customer experience and value proposition to life in a deck like this. | | A great use here of the visuals that are “unique” to the company to help them communicate their value proposition to investors. | | A demo here (if possible) would have been more powerful but overall this is again a great use of their advantage (visual images) to connect with investors. | | I like this roadmap for the same reason, it uses visuals to show what they will accomplish at each stage. I don’t however like them reverting to the “solution” language here. The roadmap should be forward facing, we already have our problem and solution. | | This overcomplicates the deck a little. This can be something you pull out during questions or after the pitch but until now it was a very clear pitch, now they are jumping into something so far into the future that it can start to confuse VCs. | | | | | | | | | | | | Would you invest based on this deck? | | | Hire an AI BDR & Get Qualified Meetings On Autopilot | | Outbound requires hours of manual work. | Hire Ava who automates your entire outbound demand generation process, including: | Intent-Driven Lead Discovery Across Dozens of Sources High Quality Emails with Human-Level Personalization Follow-Up Management Email Deliverability Management
