‘Nobody should be in here': Milford High School student detained by ICE is released on bond

A high school student from Milford, Massachusetts, who was detained by immigration authorities has been released on bond.

Marcelo Gomes Da Silva, 18, was given a $2,000 bond by an immigration judge at a Thursday hearing. He has since been released from custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

He made a triumphant homecoming Thursday night, with family and friends waiting to welcome him back.

Is the Karen Read trial almost over? Testimony resumes Friday with a new witness

The Karen Read murder case is nearing its end.

Both sides will return to the courtroom on Friday after a day off, and according to Read, her defense is expected to rest their case next week.

After high temperatures and poor ventilation inside Norfolk Superior Court led Judge Beverly Cannone to cancel court on Thursday, everyone will return to court for what is expected to be a full day of testimony.

First Alert: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of Mass.

If Thursday’s 90 degree temperatures didn’t grab your attention that summer has arrived, Friday’s storms very well could. We have a couple of trigger points to kick them off too: a washed-out front and localized sea breezes.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of Massachusetts on Friday morning. See the latest severe weather alerts here.

Shots fired near Hampton Beach, suspect in police custody

Police are continuing to investigate after a report of shots fired in the area of New Hampshire’s Hampton Beach on Thursday night.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Hampton police said they, along with other law enforcement agencies, responded to sounds of shots fired in the area of Ocean Boulevard and G Street. Several officers were already in the area and were able to quickly form a perimeter and identify a suspect.

A gun was located and secured by police, and a person of interest matching the suspect’s description was quickly taken into police custody.

Judge blocks Trump's ban on Harvard international students. Here's what we know

President Donald Trump and Harvard University continue to butt heads, but a judge is once again getting in the middle of this bitter battle.

On Thursday night, a judge blocked the president’s attempt to ban the school from enrolling foreign students.

U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs said her newest order is effective immediately — and will remain in effect until further notice.

Crews battle massive fire in triple-decker in Revere overnight

A massive fire erupted overnight in a triple-decker building in Revere, Massachusetts.

Heavy fire could be seen consuming the building on Payson Street. It appeared the entire structure was engulfed in flames.

Video captured by NBC10 Boston’s photographer around 3 a.m. Friday showed firefighters working to put extinguish the flames. A second building was also damaged in the fire.
