Franklin Community,

We have made it to the final week!  Next week is our last week of school, and it's only three days long!  I want to take this opportunity to thank our students and the whole community for welcoming me to Franklin and making my first year such a great experience.  I couldn't be happier to be the principal of Franklin Middle School!

This week, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Oakton High School Graduation.  Some of you may have seen me on stage!  It was a wonderful ceremony and I was so happy to be a part of such an important moment for many of our former Falcons.  I'm looking forward to attending Chantilly High School's Graduation Ceremony next Tuesday!

We are excited for a fun-filled final week of the school year.  On Monday, we have our grade-level celebrations and parties!  Students will have the opportunity to complete an inflatable obstacle course, play sports with their friends, enjoy some delicious treats, watch a movie, listen to a live DJ, and participate in various crafts!  Thank you to the PTA for all of their hard work in making this such a fun and meaningful experience for our students as they celebrate the year coming to a close.  If you are able, please use our sign up form to volunteer for the event.

Tuesday, we will have our team awards ceremonies.  Students will cheer on their classmates as they receive various end of year awards and recognitions.  Great job to all of our recipients.  We are looking forward to celebrating them!

If you have not had a chance to do so yet, please fill out the After School Program Survey.  This survey provides valuable feedback for Mr. Tippins as well as the After School Program Office.  It shouldn't take much longer than 5 minutes!

Don't forget that Wednesday is a two hour early release.  Students will be dismissed at 12:15pm.  Have a great weekend!
