What a fantastic final full week of school it was! We packed it with learning, fun end-of-year activities, a heartwarming graduation walk for our former White Oaks students, and so many wonderful celebrations.
 A huge thank you to our incredible White Oaks PTA for the fantastic Block Party on Sunday. The turnout was amazing, and it was clear everyone had a blast connecting with one another. Events like these truly strengthen our community, and I'm excited to keep that positive energy going with Summer Cookouts at White Oaks in July. Keep an eye out for more details later this summer!
 As we prepare to close our doors on Wednesday for the summer, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for an incredible school year. It has been a year filled with remarkable achievements, growth, and countless moments of joy.
I'm so proud of our students for their hard work, resilience, and endless curiosity. They've embraced new challenges, supported one another, and consistently inspired us with their dedication. And to our parents and guardians, thank you for your partnership, trust, and continued support that makes the White Oaks' community so vibrant.
As you embark on your summer adventures, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Keep reading, exploring, and creating! We look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed and ready for a new year of learning and discovery, on August 18, 2025.

Parents or guardians must pick up their child's medication stored in the health room no later than June 11th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Medication left in the health room after that time will be destroyed.

We recognize that many families take first day and last day of school pictures at home. Here are some signs you can print and have your children hold.
They made it!!! Let's send our Teachers and Staff off with a celebration! It's been a challenging year and they've been dedicated, resilient, and worked hard! We have many staff transitioning or retiring and we will miss them! On Friday, June 13 at noon we will host a celebration for them in the WOES cafeteria. Please consider donating your time and/or food and drinks to make this send-off special for them! Sign up here.

We made it! Thank YOU for all of the time and hours you spent helping our community this past year! YOU are the reason WOES is a great place! We are eager to relax, eat, and connect to celebrate this past year. Please note, this is an event for our adult volunteers.
Join us Wednesday, June 18 from 5-7 pm (come whenever you can during that time) at the OKM Pool (9534 Orion Court, Burke, VA 22015). Not a member? No worries, you will be provided with a pass. The PTA will be providing meat dishes, a vegetarian option, breads, sauces, plates/utensils, and non-alcoholic beverages. We ask that you help us by bringing your favorite appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share. Sign up here to bring something to share.

As the school year wraps up, the PTA wants to wish all our families and staff a wonderful, safe, and fun summer break! We're so grateful for your support this past year.
