As has happened to many other companies, we recently detected and blocked an automated attack that attempted to create fraudulent accounts and trigger password-reset emails from our platform. The emails you may have received were unauthorized and may contain unsafe hyperlinks placed in the “First Name” field by the attacker.
Please do not click on any links in those messages. We have deactivated the illegitimate accounts, nullified the reset links, and fortified our security controls to prevent similar activity going forward.
