It does share the branding/style of the company extremely well, but it doesn’t communicate what the company does, and the company name is largely tucked away. | | I don’t understand the purpose of this slide; it’s almost as if they knew that their cover slide wasn’t good, so they made a second one. Really dumfounded at how anyone can believe that two slides with pretty much zero content is an effective way to start a deck when you really only have 30 seconds to capture attention. | | This “team” slide has zero relevant information. Other than saying they are digital creatives, there is nothing here that tells me why they are qualified to start this company or why they will, should, or can succeed. | We are now three slides in; I don’t know what they are doing or why they deserve my attention. | | | | Want unlimited AI, ASAP? | | Get up to 6 months of Plus plan + unlimited AI free! | Launch and scale your startup faster with Notion. | Visit the Notion for Startups page to get the offer. | Get Notion AI for free | | This is an excellent problem slide. I don’t usually condone having 6+ problems, but this is a unique way to communicate the challenges faced by your target market, and I do feel that it would be effective in this circumstance. | | This is a weird slide. It is in place of a solution slide but doesn’t propose a solution. It also isn’t the right place for a mission slide. Always have a solution slide after your product slide. | | This seems like it is supposed to be a product slide, but again, it doesn’t actually explain the product's features or value proposition. Every slide here doesn’t seem to understand what it is trying to communicate. | | Again, I assume this is a competition slide, but it really lacks the content that a competition slide should have. It doesn’t show me what is similar, different, or unique about the company. | | | Don’t settle for an average profile photo | | Look like someone worth hiring. This is a perfect example of a deck that is written from the perspective of a founder who is too close to the product and doesn’t understand what investors need to see in a deck. | | | | | | | | | | | Would you invest based on this deck? | | | Are you looking to grow your business?
