This Florida Sea Grant position directly supports the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the multi-agency Florida’s Coral Reef Resilience Program (FCRRP). The Florida Coral Propagation Coordinator (“Coordinator”) position occupies a central role in completing and executing a comprehensive Coral Propagation Strategy for Florida. The location preference is for Pinellas County FDEP office but alternative locations in South Florida that would allow work out of a state or partner facility will be considered.

The Citizens Environmental Coalition (CEC) will convene 200 diverse stakeholders at our 2025 Greater Houston Environmental Summit—Mobilize the Eco-Movement—to address Houston’s pressing local challenges that we face due to increased climate stressors, changes in the political climate, and financial constraints. This year’s summit calls for collective action in the face of accelerating environmental and climate crises. As environmental and societal challenges grow more complex, the need for deep collaboration across organizations and communities has never been greater.

This is a management position in the LA Sea Grant program at LSU and serves as point of contact with LSU's OSP and SPA offices, all other Louisiana university OSP and SPA offices, along with other state and federal agencies, including the National Sea Grant College Program office (NSGO) and NOAA. This position handles all pre-award proposals and budget requirements associated with submitting contracts and grants to sponsors and also handles post-award contract negotiations, reporting, and oversight, including but not limited to no-cost extensions, tentative account numbers, re-budgeting, and other necessary duties to maintain contract compliance.
