A Message from Principal Ritter
Greetings Gator Families,
I hope that you are having a great summer break! We have been working hard at Kings Glen to prepare for the upcoming school year. Our fabulous custodial staff has been doing a phenomenal job of cleaning our building - a tricky task since we are hosting several programs over the summer months.
Recently, we hosted a very successful 3-week CodeUp! program at Kings Glen, in which the campers explored nature and technology in creative ways. Check it out here!
Although summer is still in full swing, I would like to put the following dates on your radar for back-to-school planning purposes:

Kings Glen Open House
Friday, August 15th, 9:30-10:15 a.m.
Join us on Friday, August 15 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. for the Kings Glen Open House. Open House is a time for students and families to informally meet the teacher, reconnect with friends, visit with new classmates, and to explore the school. Staff members will be on hand to give extra assistance during the open house to help you find your child’s classroom. Families are welcome to drop off school supplies during the visit. Stay tuned for more details!
Kings Glen Back to School Night
Wednesday, August 20th, 6:00 p.m.
Save the date for Kings Glen (Grades 4-6) Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m. Come join us to learn more about the teachers, the school day, and instruction.
Kings Park Open House
Friday, August 15th, 8:45-9:30 a.m.
Join us on Friday, August 15th from 8:45-9:30 a.m. for our Kings Park Open House. Open House is a time for students and families to informally meet their teacher and to explore the classroom. Staff members will be on hand to give extra assistance during the open house to help you find your child’s classroom. We hope to see you there! We encourage families to enter the building and practice walking to class the same way their students will each day. Please see the below map for coordinated entrances.

Save the date for KPES (Grades K-3) Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 10th at 6:00 p.m. Come join us to learn more about our teachers, the school day, and our instructional programming. We hope to see you there!
