B&NE Delays Year-End Reports for Fiscal 2025 Questions around the way the company accounts for the cost of digital sales forced Barnes & Noble Education to delay filing its report, with an investigation finding that “internal control over financial reporting was not effective” in fiscal 2024 and 2025. Sales for the year ended May 3, 2025 rose $40.5 million, to $1.61 billion.
