Good afternoon Fairfax Villa families,

I hope you’re all enjoying your summer adventures and time together. Although we won’t start sending our weekly New You Choose newsletters on a regular basis until school starts I’m sending this one out with some reminders about our upcoming school events and important information to be ready for another wonderful school year. More information will be sent soon about Open House and Back to School Night.

Important Upcoming Dates

7/25: Playdate on the Playground for Rising 1st Grade Students 3:00-4:00 p.m.

7/31: Popsicles on the Playground for Rising K Students 10:00-11:00 a.m.

8/15 Fairfax Villa Open House 9:30-11:00 a.m. (Students and Families)

8/18: First Day of School for the 2025-2026 School Year

9/10: Back to School night 6-7:30 p.m. (Parents only, no students)

Playdate on the Playground for Rising 1st Grade Students

Get ready for some summer fun! We're hosting a special playdate just for you on Friday, July 25th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the playground.

Come on out to meet some of your new classmates, make new friends, and enjoy an afternoon of play before school starts. We can't wait to see you there!

Popsicles on the Playground for Rising K Students

Welcome, New Villa Dragons!

A huge, warm welcome to all our new students joining Fairfax Villa Elementary for the first time! We are so thrilled to have you become a part of our Villa Dragons family.

To help you get acquainted with your new school and neighborhood, we invite all new students and their families to a special event on Thursday, July 31st, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Join us for a fun bus ride around the neighborhood, giving you a sneak peek of your school bus route. After the ride, we'll head to the playground for some refreshing popsicles and a chance to mingle. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our fantastic Kindergarten team and make new friends before the first day of school officially begins!

We can't wait to see you there!
