Minutes after takeoff, a Southwest flight leaving Burbank, California, descended in response to two onboard alerts, injuring two flight attendants and frightening passengers, according to the airline and people on board.

There was a traffic alert and collision avoidance system alert that involved a Hawker Hunter MK 58 single-seat fighter jet, a source said.
