Don't sleep on this Tatcha sunscreen

a secretly amazing product we’ve tried that should be popular but isn’t (yet)

The brand: Tatcha

What you’ve seen:  The Dewy Skin Cream

What you need to try: The Silk Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50

Why I’m obsessed:

  • No white cast in sight: No, seriously. There aren’t a lot of mineral sunscreens that don’t leave behind a pale tint on my brown skin, but this is a noteworthy exception. (Keep in mind, it may take time to dry down if you’re using a lot.)

  • Lightweight and gentle formula: Despite having oily skin, I actually prefer a hydrating, non-mattifying sunscreen. The Silk Sunscreen gives me a slightly dewy finish that doesn’t feel heavy on my skin — it’s one of the most lightweight formulas I’ve ever tried.

  • All-day wear: When I test sunscreens, I really put them through the ringer. I’m talking workouts, errands, and anything outdoors — this sunscreen survived it all. Whether I’m sweating during a weight set or getting rained on with friends at the park, it holds up through multiple re-applications without running down my face and into my eyes.

Something to note: If you have oily skin, pair this with a smoothing primer on really, really hot days.
