New TIGERweb Updates
Our interactive map, TIGERweb, has new updates!
TIGERweb is a web-based system that enables users to visualize TIGER (Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing database) data. Users may view legal boundaries such as county and place; statistical boundaries such as blocks and tracts; roads; and other geographic features. This platform is updated twice yearly. TIGERweb is a great way to view Census Bureau geographies and their relationships, as well as obtain detailed information about each geography. It has a user-friendly interface yet contains a variety of options for visualizing geographic information. This TIGERweb release includes legal boundaries for all governments as reported to the 2025 Boundary and Annexation Survey through March 1, 2025, and school district boundaries as reported to the 2025 School District Review Program, effective January 1, 2025.

About the Geography Program
Geography is central to the work of the Census Bureau, providing the framework for survey design, sample selection, data collection, tabulation, and dissemination. Geography provides meaning and context to statistical data.

Use of the latest and best geographic methodologies is critical to the Census Bureau’s ability to serve as the leading provider of statistical and geospatial data. Our geographic area concepts, information, and statistical data must keep pace with the needs of the researchers and analysts who work to understand the changing distribution and characteristics of our people, places, and economy.
