Projections — Made Stupid Simple

Projection in Fusion is like tracing a stained glass window.

You can’t trace it from across the room, right?
You’ve gotta walk up, press your paper on the glass, and trace from that side.

Fusion works the same way:

  • You start a sketch on a face or plane (your glass).
  • Then you project geometry onto that plane so you can reference it.
  • You can’t just reach out and grab shapes from thin air — Fusion doesn’t play that.

Stick your sketch on the window. Then trace. Done.
