Pedestrian dies two days after crash near Denver’s City Park

Denver police announced Friday afternoon that a pedestrian hit by a vehicle in central Denver had died.

Aurora car theft suspect leads police on two chases before crashing

Officers attempted to stop the driver of a stolen vehicle near Hoffman Boulevard and Potomac Street . The suspect took off, leading to a chase and a rollover crash involving the stolen vehicle near the junction of E-470 and Interstate 70.

Castle Pines family displaced by Friday morning house fire

South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at 7918 Berkshire Lane at about 7:56 a.m. Friday. The fire apparently started outside the home, but the fire marshal is still investigating the cause.

Aaron Thomas Carrado, of Sedalia, was convicted of 12 counts, including six for sexual assault on a child by someone in a “position of trust.”
