Versova-Bandra Sea Link, FASTag updates & metro expansion: What moved last week!

Hello Readers,
The dream project of Mumbai, the Versova-Bandra Sea Link (VBSL), officially named the Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Sea Link, is a part of the city's coastal road network. Currently under construction at a revised cost of ₹18,120 crore, it will link Versova with Bandra, where it will connect with the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

The project, which is a 17.17 km long sea bridge, is 60 per cent complete and on track to be finished within the next two years. Once open, it will ease traffic congestion and pressure on local trains while also giving a boost to the Maximum City's economic growth.
