| | Good morning, Chicago. One of our writers begins his piece with some truth today: “Before Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were John, Paul, George and Ringo.” Chicago lawyer Michael Peregrine writes about the Fab Four’s performances 60 years ago for over 60,000 fans at Comiskey Park. It wasn’t the Beatles’ first concert in Chicago, but it was one of their most memorable. Read the piece and take a trip back to the ’60s. Columnist Laura Washington doesn’t think the unity shown by Illinois Democrats at the Illinois State Fair will last long. Also in our section today, several community leaders make a case for why the Bears’ impact will still be felt in Chicago even if the team moves to Arlington Heights. The Bears organization has given tens of millions to community groups across the city and will continue to do so if they leave. Thanks for reading.
