Welcome to The Weekend Edit a Saturday morning ritual from The Good Trade. I feel hints of change all around my life. I’ve always sensed when a big season was coming before it arrived — partly due to things I’ve been calling in, partly life’s way of nudging me to expand. Almost everyone I talk to feels this right now too: this transitional, in-between space of autumn’s arrival where nothing is quite finished and nothing has fully begun. The winds are picking up in Los Angeles, and the songbirds have begun their autumn migration — these are my gentle reminders not to resist change but to move with the rhythm of the season. Nature shows us what we so often resist: letting go, moving on. The trees do not cling to their leaves, and the birds do not apologize for their departure. Release and renewal are not opposites, but companions. I am a builder, a planner, a doer — I like to see the end from the beginning. But here I am, learning instead to live inside each moment, to welcome the winds of change with softness and trust. Today’s themes are all about what’s keeping me grounded and present. 💛 Today’s Weekend Edit Includes: xx, Subscribe to The Good Trade to unlock the rest.Become a paying subscriber of The Good Trade to get access to this post and other subscriber-only content.
