I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude and Panda Pride. We recently received some incredible news from our Region and Pyramid leadership, and I wanted to share these honors with the people who make this school so special—you.
Our PTA shared a beautiful message this morning with the community, and their words perfectly capture the spirit of why we do what we do every day.
I am incredibly humbled and honored to share that I have been named the Outstanding New Principal of the Year for Region 2.
The PTA’s kind words truly touched me:

While my name is on the award, this recognition is a testament to the "ultimate hype crew"—our amazing parents, teachers, and staff. You are the reason Franklin Sherman is the best place to learn and grow, and I am so lucky to lead alongside you.
The celebrations don't stop there! We are over the moon to announce that our very own Ms. Christy Stoermann has been officially named the McLean Pyramid Outstanding Professional Employee of the Year.
As many of you know, Ms. Stoermann is a true Panda legend. She is:
