Message to all operators - have you changed your contact details?

If you hold an operator’s licence, make sure your email address, telephone number and postal address recorded on your licence are correct.

If these details are wrong, you may not receive important correspondence from the Traffic Commissioner that could affect your operator’s licence.

DVSA now sends prohibition notices and prohibition clearance notices by email to the correspondence email address on your licence. These emails include a link to download the notice.

What you need to do if your details have changed

• Sign in to your VOL account: https://www.gov.uk/manage-vehicle-operator-licence
• Go to ‘Your account’.
• Check your correspondence email address, telephone number and postal address are correct.
• Update them if needed and save.

If you do not have a VOL account

Create an account: https://www.gov.uk/manage-vehicle-operator-licence

Who does not need to take any action

You do not need to do anything if you do not hold an operator’s licence or you have not changed your contact details.
