Hey Nora, I’m happy to announce my new course, Everyday Energy, is now open for registration:
This program is a three-month deep-dive into the science of what energizes and drains us. The goal isn’t just to give you an in-depth understanding for managing your energy, but to cultivate practices that actually make a difference in the levels of energy you regularly experience. How Everyday Energy WorksThe program is divided into three parts, each reflecting a central component to our experience of energy: Month One: FUEL. In this month, we’ll focus on the biological pillars of energy: sleep, exercise, diet and stress-management. I’ll show how subtle tweaks to your daily routines can add up to a huge increase in the energy you have available for work and life. Month Two: FLOW. In the second month, we’ll work on establishing natural cycles of work and rest that allow us to make the most of the energy we have available. In this month, you’ll learn how to beat procrastination, increase focus, all while making the hard work feel easy. Month Three: FLOURISH. Finally, in the third month, we’ll move beyond tweaks to our routines to dive deep into the psychology of meaning and intrinsic motivation, making adjustments to our lifestyle and work philosophy so that energy comes easily. Working directly with students to help them implement the ideas I write about is one of the most satisfying parts of my job.
