What’s the Story?
From Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Power of Yes!

If you dare nothing, then when the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained. ~Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book “I’d like to know why you don’t cover more women’s sports.” A few faces turned toward me as I stood with my hands on my hips in the office of The Silhouette, McMaster University’s student newspaper. Indignation had fuelled my journey here to The Silhouette’s office in one of the many magnificent, old brick buildings that dotted the campus. Now that I’d articulated the source of my ire, I felt uneasy.
Who was I to march in and make demands?
I’m not sure what I would have done had I been in the sports editor’s shoes — sorely tempted, perhaps, to put an upstart in her place. But he took a different approach, regarding me contemplatively for a moment. (Keep reading)
