I tried my hand at repotting the monstera this weekend and it was a mess, but I think it will survive. The roots were so tangled I felt like I was performing surgery. Also, there is this absurdly bold squirrel that has discovered my tomato plants. He sits on the fence and stares directly at me through the kitchen window while munching on a stolen cherry tomato. It feels oddly confrontational. Let me know if you end up trying the organic soil mix from the nursery on Oak street.
