FIRST ALERT: Timing out the heavy rain soaking New England

We’ve started this Tuesday with quite a bit of rain over parts of southern New England as an area of low pressure approaches from the south.

In fact, periods of heavy rain are possible through the early morning commute today in Greater Boston, especially over South Shore and the Cape.
