Release 7.58.0.1 of the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) is now Live.

The following AI defect fixes are included in this release:

• Fixed an issue in File Processing Summary Report so all products for one supplier are displayed in one row (AO File Management Page).
• Fixed an issue in Enrollment Summary Report so only approved enrollments will be pulled into the Enrollment Summary reports.
• Fixed an issue in IE 855B - Sole Owner Business Structure where there was missing Electronic Storage information on ADR.
• Fixed an issue where historic SVs were affected by use of the old DME form.
• Fixed an issue for Enrollment Summary Report so there will be space between line and 2 for the 'Physical Address Line2' in the Enrollment Summary Report.
• Fixed an issue for Enrollment Summary Report so that records in the report are displaying multiple times once with LBN and again with DBA name.

The following PI defect fixes are included in this release:

• Fixed an issue in 855A/IE/COI/SNF/PI - Individual will be added in the Individual Control with Tin created duplicates of the same Associate.
• Fixed an issue for an 855B so that when "Neither" or "Certified by a national credentialing organization" is selected for "License/Certification" - IDTF Technicians section in PI, Required and Warning errors will not be displayed for Revalidation/Reactivation/COI workflows.
• Fixed an issue where My Enrollments page is displaying duplicates for enrollments with multiple records in the MV ( PEC_REVLDTN_NTFCTN_CNTR_PI_MV ).

EQRS Data Submission Deadline Approaching, CMS Releases CY 2027 ESRD QIP Technical Specifications and ESRD Measures Manual

EQRS Clinical Data Submission Deadline Approaching

The End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Reporting System (EQRS) Clinical Data submission deadline for the May 2026 reporting month is August 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. This deadline applies to all collection types (Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis) and to all submission methods. The EQRS submission deadlines for all of calendar year (CY) 2026 data are available here for EQRS Clinical Data, Clinical Depression Screening and Follow-Up Assessments, and In-Center Hemodialysis Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (ICH CAHPS) Attestation.

Dialysis facilities must submit EQRS data by each applicable deadline. Missing these deadlines puts your facility at risk for an ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP) payment reduction.

CMS Releases CY 2027 ESRD QIP Technical Specifications and ESRD Measures Manual 

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the most recent ESRD QIP Technical Measures Specifications and ESRD Measures Manual on the CMS.gov website. These documents reflect updates based on the CY 2027 ESRD Prospective Payment System (PPS) proposed rule that was published on June 26, 2026, on the Federal Register website. 

The CY 2027 ESRD QIP Technical Measures Specifications provides detailed information on ESRD QIP measures including measure descriptions, measure type, numerator and denominator statements, exclusion criteria, minimum data requirements, data sources, and additional information. 

The ESRD Measures Manual for the 2027 Performance Period provides detailed descriptions of how ESRD measure scores are calculated and how CMS evaluates the quality of dialysis care.
