18 and 19 November, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, Edinburgh

This year's theme is 'The next steps for the safe deployment of hydrogen and its derivatives'.
HSE is bringing together key hydrogen stakeholders to share knowledge and experiences at Safe Net Zero 2026.
Join us for the opportunity to learn, share and network via a packed programme which focuses on what is happening with hydrogen safety nationally and globally, and what that means in relation to the UK transport, storage and production landscapes.
The 2-day programme will include sessions on:
- the national and global hydrogen picture
- applications and end users for hydrogen
- research priorities
- transport, storage and production
- standards and guidance
- first responders
For the first time, Safe Net Zero will include a poster exhibition where academia can showcase their hydrogen research.
