Dee Warner, a hard-charging Michigan farmer and entrepreneur, had been missing for more than three years when a U.S. customs X-ray machine revealed the unimaginable location where prosecutors believe her body had been nearly the entire time — inside a sealed fertilizer tank.
The discovery — which was captured in a chilling image that showed the silhouette of a body — was among the most significant developments in the case since she vanished from her farm in April 2021.
