Fall Sports Underway
Our first week of scrimmages have come to a close with our volleyball programs and varsity football team getting their first action of the fall! Field Hockey returns today from their trip to Virginia Beach where they practiced at the USA Field Hockey training complex before stopping by William & Mary to watch former standout Callia Uviedo take part in practice.
There is one more week before the start of regular season begin on Monday, August 24. Fall weekly recaps will start with the August 29 newsletter!

Atoms Track Field Turf Replacement
We are excited to share another improvement to our athletic facilities at Annandale High School!
Over the last several years, our facilities have undergone several renovations, and we are pleased to announce that the artificial turf on our track field will be replaced beginning Monday, September 24 and expected to be completed by November 30.
During construction, the turf field and surrounding track will be completely closed and unavailable for use. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in staying clear of the construction area while this important project is underway.

Atoms Boosters Passes
The Atoms Booster Club’s All-Season passes are back! This year our Atoms Athletic Boosters is transitioning to a digital format for the all-season passes. The developers are still working on it, and it will be rolled out soon.
Pricing for the '26-'27 season will be, Adult - $80, Student - $40, and Parking Pass - $30.
The "Atoms Pass" provides you general admission access to all regular season home football, baseball, basketball, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and wrestling events. With more than nine sports showcased, you can save BIG with the all-season pass!

Purchase a Red Card!
Each fall, our sports programs sell a discount “Red Card” to raise money for their teams. The red cards include various discounts at local businesses including: Glory Days, Subways, Jet’s Pizza, Kilroy’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen, Lucky Strike, and AHS Sports Camps. Red Cards are only $20 and can be used at any of the businesses through October 1, 2027. If you would like to purchase a Red Card, please reach out to a fall athlete or email Brandon Sutphin

New Athletic/Activity Registration

We are very excited to announce that Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Student Activities and Athletics has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service, for student registration for athletics and activities.
FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic forms for your students online. FCPS and FinalForms have worked closely to ensure that your most sensitive information is safeguarded and meets all of FCPS’ rigorous data protection requirements.
Emails to a parent's email address on SIS should have been sent Monday, July 6 through Tuesday, July 7. If you did not receive your invitation email to create your FinalForms account, please reach out directly to the Annandale Activities Office, DSA: Brandon Sutphin or Admin Assistant: Nicole Salgado Lopez

Fall sports pictures took place on Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14. Online ordering information.

ALL TRANSFER STUDENTS by default are INELIGIBLE. More information can be found on the FCPS Website.
The NEW Guardian application process must be started before the transfer students is considered "bona fide".
ALL Transfer students must complete the Guardian application process to be declared eligible.
NO TRANSFER IS ELIGIBLE UNTIL THERE IS NOTICE FROM THE GUARDIAN SYSTEM THAT INCLUDES A VHSL CITATION AND POST SEASON ELIGIBILITY.
