Come and support your Spartans against West Potomac on Friday!
- Entrance to the stadium has been reduced to the main lower stadium gate. Those who require a wheelchair accessible entrance may report to the upper gate.
- Everyone attending the game will need to pass through the OpenGate weapons detection system. This is the same system that middle and high school students use every day during morning arrival.
A standardized bag policy will also be in place to help ensure a safe, efficient entry process for everyone attending our games. The following items are prohibited:
Students in grades 9-12 will need to:
- Check-in with their student ID or show their SIS StudentVUE prior to entry in front of the main lower stadium gate (right side).
All elementary and middle school students must:
- Be accompanied & supervised by a parent/guardian while at the game. A student without a parent /guardian will not be admitted. There are no exceptions.
- Parent/guardian will be asked to scan a QR code providing contact information upon arrival.
We recommend you using the pre-sale link (August 28 Football - West Springfield vs West Potomac) to purchase tickets ahead of the game to avoid waiting and to arrive about an hour before a game starts to give yourself extra time to go through OpenGate and check-in.
If you or your student plans to come, please take the time to discuss the relevant information below:
- The main lower stadium gate will open at 6:00pm.
- New bag policy and prohibited items list.
- Elementary & middle school students MUST be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
- There is NO ENTRYinto the stadium after ticket sales close and NO RE-ENTRY into the stadium upon exiting.
- The purpose for students who attend our varsity football games is to watch the game.
- We cheer for our team and not against our opponent. All cheers should be positive.
- All students need to leave immediately following the game.
Our goal is to create a positive community event. Any behaviors that take away from this goal may result in removal from the game.
Thank you for your partnership in helping your child follow these new measures. We also ask that you remind your child about appropriate behavior while they are at a football game.

- Varsity Football Games— Use Entrance “A“
- Only for Varsity football game - all spectators will participate in security screening using the same weapons detection technology introduced in our high schools last school year.
