You know how some weeks feel like they just evaporate before you can even catch your breath? That was honestly my whole month. I kept telling myself I was going to sit down and write out a proper update, but every single time I sat down, something else popped up.
I finally took a long walk yesterday down by the old rail trail. It was one of those afternoons where the sky keeps changing its mind every ten minutes - gray, then bright, then a quick little drizzle, then this giant stretch of blue. By the time I got back, I felt ten times lighter.
Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say I have not forgotten about you. I have a stack of things I want to share, but nothing feels quite finished enough to put into words yet. Pretty sure the trick is just to start typing and see what sticks.
Hope your week is moving at a good pace. Let me know what you have been up to lately, even if it is just a random thought you had while waiting in line somewhere. Talk soon.

I was just looking through some old notes the other day and found a little list I had made back in the spring. Half of the things on it never even happened, and honestly that feels completely fine.
The funny part is how much energy I spent planning for stuff that did not matter, while the things that actually ended up being memorable were totally unplanned. Like that random Tuesday when we stayed out way too late talking on the porch. Or the afternoon we took the wrong turn on purpose just to see where the road went.
I think that is the kind of energy I want to carry into the next few months. Less overthinking, more saying yes to things that feel right in the moment.
Anyway, this is your reminder to trust your gut a little more. If something is tugging at you, just go do it. You can always adjust later if the path gets bumpy.
Hope the rest of your afternoon has a bit of quiet in it. Catch up again soon.
