Okay so I looked at the park permits for the second weekend in October and the group site near the lake is still open but the one by the creek is already reserved. So I measured the window opening yesterday and it is forty two inches across and fifty eight inches tall. The frame is slightly out of square so we will need to shim the left side by about a quarter inch before hanging the new curtain rod. I was thinking a matte black rod with simple finials would match the other hardware in the room. The curtains we ordered should arrive Thursday afternoon and I will wash them on cold before we iron them. We need to drill into the drywall at three points and I already picked up the anchors that hold up to forty pounds. The old brackets left some marks but a little spackle and touch-up paint should cover them. If we start around ten on Saturday we can finish before lunch. Bring your drill and the level with the yellow handle. I will move the dresser away from the wall so we have room to work.
