Yeah so we should probably touch base about the picnic before the weekend gets here. I was thinking about what to bring and honestly I can handle the pasta salad since I already have most of the ingredients sitting in the pantry.
It comes together pretty quick and I know your sister likes the one with the olives and feta so I will just use that recipe again. If you want to grab some fruit or maybe a couple of bags of chips that would be perfect. We should also figure out what time works best for everyone because the park gets busy after noon and it would be good to claim a table near the shade.
I talked to Marcus yesterday and he said he can bring some cold drinks and a blanket. Let me know if you think we need anything else because I can swing by the store on my way over. It might also be smart to bring some extra napkins and a trash bag just in case. I am happy we are finally doing this because it has been way too long since we all hung out together.

OMAHA STEAKS - A TRADITION OF QUALITY
So when you asked about the best way to organize the pantry I probably should have been more specific. Start by pulling everything out and grouping things by category like grains, canned goods, baking supplies, and snacks. That alone makes a huge difference because you will actually see what you have instead of buying duplicates.
After that use clear bins or baskets for loose items like spice packets or small bags of nuts. Label them if you have a label maker or even just masking tape and a marker works fine. Put the things you use daily at eye level and move the occasional stuff to higher shelves. Keep heavy items like big bags of flour or sugar on lower shelves so they are easier to lift.
It also helps to turn labels forward so you can scan quickly. I think you will be surprised how much more space appears once the cans are not stacked in random piles. And honestly doing a quick wipe of the shelves before you put everything back is worth the extra ten minutes.
