If you were previously denied VA health care, you may now qualify.

Eligibility requirements have changed, and the PACT Act expanded access to VA care for millions of Veterans. The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center enrollment team is hosting two free events in October to answer questions, check eligibility, and help veterans apply.

VA health care benefits may include free hearing aids and eyeglasses for many veterans, affordable prescriptions, little or no out-of-pocket costs for most services, and care designed specifically for veterans.

If you plan to enroll, please bring:

• Your DD Form 214
• Income information from the previous year
• Your marriage date, if applicable
• Dates of birth and Social Security numbers for any dependents
