Join us for the Former Prisoners of War/Missing in Action Ceremony Friday, Sept 18
Dear Veterans,
Please join us for our annual Former Prisoners of War/Missing in Action (FPOW/MIA) Ceremony, a solemn event dedicated to honoring those who were held captive and have returned, as well as those who remain missing from past conflicts.
Date: Friday, September 18th
Time: 12 PM - 12:30 PM
Location: Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO), Building 21 Lobby
As part of this important remembrance, we will feature the Missing Man Table display—a round table set with a single chair, adorned with a white tablecloth, a solitary candle, a lemon, a saltshaker, a book of faith, an inverted glass, and a single red rose in a vase tied with a yellow ribbon. Each element holds deep meaning, and during the ceremony, we will share a reading that explains the significance of each item.
The ceremony will also include a prayer led by Chaplain Services, and light snacks will be provided.
Please join us as we honor and remember our nation’s heroes who have endured the unthinkable and those who have yet to return home.
