 WHAT: The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, will host its annual VetFest event to bring awareness about the many VA health care programs and services available to Veterans and to help them navigate the VA system. The event will feature information and representatives from various services, including the Patient Advocates, Whole Health, Women’s Health, Enrollment & Eligibility, Veteran Service Officers, and more, plus pneumonia and RSV vaccinations will be offered free of charge to Veterans. Additionally, many family-friendly, fun activities are planned, including a petting zoo, military vehicle display, games, food trucks, live music, and more.
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, 1500 N. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff
WHO: All Veterans, their families, and caregivers are invited to attend, and there is no cost.
 The Cape Girardeau VA Health Care Center will host a Veterans Resource Fair from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. September 29 to bring awareness about the many services and programs available through VA health care.
The event will feature information and representatives from various services, including the Caregiver Support Program, Veterans Homeless Program, Suicide Prevention, Voluntary Services, Enrollment & Eligibility, Care in the Community, Women’s Health, Telehealth, Whole Health, and more. Additionally, pneumonia and RSV vaccines will be offered to Veterans at no charge.
All Veterans, their families, and caregivers are welcome to attend the event at 711 South Mount Auburn Road.
