Good morning, Chicago.

The editorial board takes us to the southwest suburban Alsip today, where the mayor, John D. Ryan is attempting to change the rules so he can run for a fourth term. Ryan has supported term limits in the past. “Talk about a ‘do as I say, not as I do’ moment,” the board writes. 

In Commentary today, mayoral candidate Matt Brewer writes about what he learned serving on the Chicago Housing Authority board for over a decade as he concludes his service. And a Chicago resident reflects on what we should be able to expect from our aldermen.
