High-Injury Network Corridor Engagement

The Vision Zero team is seeking your input as they review five corridors on the High-Injury Network (HIN) and recommend safety interventions to eliminate severe and fatal crashes by 2030.

Ouch! What is the High-Injury Network?

Arlington’s Vision Zero High-Injury Network (HIN) identifies streets with the highest rates of injury and fatal crashes in the County. They use updated data to define the HIN every three years, and conduct safety audits of each HIN road over the course of this three-year cycle.

What roadways are getting audited in 2027?

We are now seeking your input on the following 5 roadways as the Vision Zero team prepares to audit them in 2027.

Use the feedback form links above to share your experiences on each road segment, or visit the HIN safety audits page to give feedback on all segments by November 1.

Give Feedback on the Carlin Springs Road Studies

DES - Carlin Springs Studies

Arlington County is conducting two simultaneous studies of Carlin Springs Road and wants your input on your experiences and the challenges you face while traveling on this important road.

Why is the County doing this study?

Carlin Springs Road connects residences, schools, parks, libraries, community centers, transit routes, and regional trail connections. It also faces safety, accessibility, and connectivity challenges.

Through this study, Arlington County is working with the community to identify practical improvements that can make travel safer, more comfortable, and more convenient for everyone, no matter how they get around.

What will Arlington do with this feedback?

The studies will help County staff develop recommendations and concepts for projects to improve the safety and comfort of people who travel on Carlin Springs Road, whether on foot, by bike, bus or driving.

How can I participate?

Share your experiences through the online feedback form through October 20. Learn more on the study page.

What's the Big Deal About E-Motos?

In Arlington, we have seen an increase in the use of e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-motos.

While we're happy to see more biking in the community, we're also seeing an uptick in crashes involving these fast devices. Take a second to learn the laws before you ride or buy someone a device.
